During the day, you will safari with professionally trained and experienced, local Tanzanian safari guides, who have vast knowledge about the culture, history, national parks and wildlife. 

During the evening, you will stay at quality lodges and resorts. From classic dining you’ll explore the sights and sounds of the natural wildlife. The lodges are a blend of luxury and African architecture. You will enjoy your time in one of most sought after safari destinations in the world.

After our Safari, we fly to experience the "Spice-Island" Zanzibar. 4 night/4 day escape to the beautiful powdery, white beaches of Zanzibar will offer each individual the opportunity to indulge in the adventure of swimming with dolphins and kite surfing to enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the historic island with its uniquely mixed cultures of Africa, the Arab region, India, and Europe.  

SAFARI HIGHLIGHTS: Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara

We will start our safari by flying from Arusha to the Serengeti, which is probably the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world with a big game haven that hosts over 3 million large mammals. Then, we will drive to the famous Ngorongoro crater, which supports a year round resident population of a variety of wildlife. It is an attraction in its own right and is one of the wonders of the natural world. We will then end our safari encountering a Maasai tribe and enjoy learning about their culture, see how they live and hunt, at experience the amazing "warrior" dance. Then on to Lake Manyara National Park, a paradise that is noted for the elusive tree-climbing lions before heading back to Arusha.

ZANZIBAR HIGHLIGHTS

Once we end our safari adventure, we will escape to the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar for 4 days of powdery, white beaches, historical guided tours, boating, snorkeling, kite surfing, swimming with dolphins (the real thing!) and an amazing culinary experience. This “Spice Island" is a bucket list all in itself, as people from all over the world visit and indulge in the tranquility and beauty of this tiny island off the shores of Tanzania.

*We use quality semi and luxury African Lodges, with a unique charm and character, in the heart of the National Parks; 4-star resort right on Paje beach in Zanzibar. Local flights to the Serengeti and Zanzibar, three quality dining meals per day, and a private, 4X4 Land Rover for safari transportation.

TANZANIA ITINERARY

Day 1 Miami Arrival Day and Welcome Meeting. (12/01)

Arrive by 4 p.m. Check-in at the Embassy Suites in Miami. The adventure begins tonight! Feel free to relax, swim, nap, or explore, but make sure you're back in time to meet the team at 6:30 p.m. After introductions, your Host will kick off our trip with appetizers, cocktails (and non-alcoholic drinks) at 6:30 p.m. After some socializing, we will be served dinner. After dinner, the Host will review the details of the trip, departure day specifics, safety and precautions, and trip FAQs.

Day 2/3 Depart Miami for Arusha, Tanzania.  (12/2-3)

After a exciting trip to the Safari Capitol of the World, we’ll stay at the Impala Lodge, where we’ll nap, sip fresh “bean to cup” coffee, relax, and get briefed on the next day’s safari. Afterwards, we will “experience” dinner with African music and dancing. Overnight.

Day 4 Our Safari Begins! Serengeti (12/04)

After an early breakfast, we will fly from Arusha to the Serengeti National Park. We will arrive in time for lunch at our lodge. After lunch, we will relax for a short while and later go for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

Day 5 Serengeti (12/05) We will depart for an early morning game drive. Then, we will return for breakfast, collect our picnic lunch, and continue for a full day of game viewing in the Serengeti. Dinner and Overnight back at the lodge.

Day 6 Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater (12/06)

After breakfast, we will depart for Ngorongoro conservation area where we will have lunch at the lodge. The lodge sits on the rim of the Ngorongoro crater from where you get awesome views of the collapsed volcano.

After a short rest break, we’ll proceed for an afternoon tour of  the crater. The drive commences with the 600 meter descent to the crater floor, a magnificent natural amphitheater. The crater supports a year round resident population of a variety of wildlife. You will have no trouble spotting lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, as well as many species of plain animals such as wildebeest, zebra, reed buck, thompson gazelle, and many more. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually been seen here.

Day 7  Lake Maynara -Arusha (12/07)

After breakfast, we will visit a traditional Maasai Village. The Maasai are a group of semi-nomadic people located in northern Tanzania. They are among the best known of African ethnic groups due to their distinctive customs and dress and are also educated in the official languages of Tanzania: Swahili and English. 

Following our Maasai village encounter, we will depart for a lunchtime game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. The park covers 330 square kilometers, 70% of which is occupied by the lake. The varied ecosystem consists of ground water forests, acacia woodland, and open grassland along the lake shore, and it sustains a wealth of wildlife, including the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo. The park is famous for the elusive tree-climbing lions that inhabit the woodland between the lake and the rift valley. It is also a bird-lover’s paradise and is host to over 400 species of birds.

Then, we will return to Arusha and the Impala Lodge where we will take a relaxing dip in the pool, enjoy appetizers and drinks poolside, and eat dinner. Overnight.

Day 8  Zanzibar (12/08)

After breakfast at The Impala Hotel, we will visit the Maasai Market for souvenirs and then depart for Kilimanjaro Airport where we will fly to Zanzibar for 4 nights and 4 wonderful “beach-filled” days.
